2016 Summer Events
Commons Beach Farmers Market | Tahoe City, CA | May through June
Located at the corner of Commons Beach Road and North Lake Boulevard, this farmers market is a great place to stock your condo with local ingredients.
Solstice Festival | Tahoe City, CA | June 16 through June 20
Tahoe celebrates the arrival of summer with a car show, wine walk, and concert. Bring Dad and celebrate Father’s Day with local food and more.
Tahoe City Wine Walk | Tahoe City, CA | June 18
Stroll Tahoe City’s lakefront sidewalks while sipping wine and sampling small bites from the area’s top chefs. This event is part of the Solstice Festival.
Western States Endurance Run | Olympic Valley, CA | June 25 and 26
This epic race begins in Olympic Valley and ends 100.2 miles later in Auburn, California. Even if you’re not gearing up to run 100 miles in less than 48 hours, you can still volunteer or go as a spectator.
Harveys Summer Concert Series | Lake Tahoe, NV | July through August
This annual concert series draws big names to Harveys Lake Tahoe, a massive casino just a short drive from Heavenly. This year, you can see Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, or James Taylor live!
Wanderlust Music & Yoga Festival | Olympic Valley, CA | July 14 through 17
Unleash your inner yogi with four days of yoga, concerts, guided outdoor adventures, and delicious food that nourishes your body and spirit.
Brews, Jazz & Funk Fest | Olympic Valley, CA | August 13 and 14
Sample 40 different beers for $5 while listening to jazz and funk music. Your entry fee benefits the animals at the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe.
2016 Fall Events
National Championship Air Races | Reno, NV | September 14 through 18
The event celebrates its 52nd anniversary with six racing classes plus military and civil aircraft demonstrations. You can also tour a display of static aircraft.
Oktoberfest | Tahoe City, CA | October 1
Enjoy beer, brats, live, music, and games for all ages. Wear your Lederhosen to compete in the costume contest and shop for German-inspired crafts.
Chocolate & Wine Festival | Incline Village, NV | November 7
Eight chocolatiers and ten wineries offer decadent desserts and drinks alongside hearty appetizers from some of Tahoe’s top chefs. Tickets benefit the Tahoe SAFE Alliance.
